A (good) dilemma our current students are facing is how to decide between different colleges. Rankings alone should not be the determinant. Here are our top 5 suggestions on how to choose the right fit. Please do leave a comment if you have any other tips:
1. Curriculum.
Is the curriculum and teaching aligning with your career goals and expectations.
2. Career Prospects.
As a graduate of this university, how likely are you to secure employment in your company, field, role and country of preference.
3. Networking Opportunities.
Are you going to be with a peer group you see yourself motivated by and learning from both in the short and long term.
4. Financial Implications.
With your acceptance letter, you will also get details about fees, expenses and aid. Please have a clear understanding of the total costs involved with each of your decisions.
5. Fit.
There is a gut feel involved in the decision making process which goes beyond the academics. When you did your initial research on the campus and environment (via student/alumni conversations, virtual tours, website, student videos etc) which option excited you more.
All the best!
